My Poor Baby!!

Boy have we had a crazy couple of days!! Yesterday we went to 7R for Aiden's 3rd birthday party. We had such a great time. Kendall did great. We (Kendall and I) just hung out by the pool, but the weather was HOT HOT HOT so we spent plently of time indoors also!! Here are some cute pictures from the day.

The boys in their matching shirts. Landa and I are wondering how long we can get away with dressing them alike before they start getting annoyed.

As for my poor baby, last night after we got home from 7R (around 6:30) I ran to the store real quick to get some chicken so that I could cook dinner. When I got back, I came in the house to TJ freaking out saying we needed to take Kendall to the hospital. I'm like "what?!" He took me in his room, took off Kendall's diaper and his right testical was huge!! So we immediately loaded him up and took him to the ER. Kendall was screaming and we were thinking that maybe something bit him. We got to the ER and the dr that he saw immediately said that he had a hernia and would have to have surgery. Of course, mine and TJ's stomachs just dropped!!! We left the hospital and called Kendall's pediatrician at home. She said to bring him in today so that she could see him and she would get him a sonogram so that we could confirm whether or not it is a hernia. So we saw her this afternoon (by the way...at almost 7 weeks, Kendall now weighs 13 lbs 2 oz...what a BIG boy!!) and the clinic was able to get us in right after that for his sonogram. Well, sure enough, it's a hernia!! So sad!! :( My sweet little baby is going to have to have surgery!! It makes me sick to my stomach!! So, I talked to the dr again this afternoon and they are going to call Cooks Monday to schedule his surgery consult and then they will call me and let me know when that appointment is. So, we'll go to Cooks for the consult and then schedule the surgery. I know it's a very minor, very common surgery...but I still can't imagine my baby having to go under and have surgery. It breaks my heart!!

Here's a picture of my little man after a long afternoon of being poked and prodded. Poor baby!!
