A Night Out With The Girls...Oh, and Carrie Underwood

Sorry...I know this blog is mainly for Kendall...but I just HAD to blog about this...

Saturday night a group of us girls from church went to Dallas to see Carrie Underwood in concert.

The evening started with dinner at Papasitos...YUM-O!!

Then we headed over to the American Airlines Center in the huge church van. Landa was a trooper and volunteered to drive.

The opening acts were Sons of Sylvia (who were odd!!) and Billy Currington.

The concert was amazing!! Carrie Underwood was awesome and put on a GREAT show!!! I know there are a LOT of pictures...but these are just some of my favorite good ones!!

What you can't see here is that a huge tree limb is hanging from the ceiling and she's swinging from it...awesome!

Yes...she is flying around the stadium in the back of an old blue Chevy. How cool is that?! This is where I got some of my best pictures because she was right in front of us.

This was cool. This is a skirt she basically just stepped into and I don't know if the lights were in the dress or if they were just shining them on her, but it looked really cool!!

This was the last picture I took at the end of the concert...awesome!

Okay...here is a video from the concert. it is so good. She sang Jesus Take the Wheel and then ended it with How Great Thou Art. I've heard her sing this on tv and I've always wanted to hear it in person. It gives me chills every time!! Sorry its a little shaky...but it was just so exciting and awesome I couldn't hold my camera still very well!! The best thing I love about this, other than she sounds amazing, is that you know she believes every word she's singing! Enjoy!!
